How much is the Almanac?

$22 for a PDF that's around 240 pages long, plus one update right before Labor Day.

When will I get mine?

Your Almanac will arrive August 5, and you’ll also receive an update to the document at the end of training camp.

Will the Almanac make me laugh?

Only if you like things that are funny. Here are some quotes about players in years past:

On Jared Goff: "In a move colder than a fart trapped in a dead polar bear, the Rams shipped Goff to NFL Siberia for Matthew Stafford.”

On Tevin Coleman: “Now Coleman joins a motley crew in the Meadowlands—which is less fun than joining Motley Crüe playing the Meadowlands.”

On Brandon Aiyuk: "Kyle Shanahan looks forward to our robot overlords. In Shanny Junior’s opinion, the less thinking humanity has to do, the better. For that reason, he’s attempting to compile a football team entirely comprised of running backs."

On Dak Prescott: "Of all the misbegotten seasons NFL teams had in 2020, the Cowboys’ bore the closest resemblance to Franklin’s Lost Expedition. In 1845, two British ships sought a new section of the Northwest Passage, became icebound for more than a year, ate each other, and the entire 129-man crew eventually died. Just as ominously, last year Jerry Jones had to watch Andy Dalton play football."

On Josh Jacobs: “I hope you don’t expect objectivity when it comes to my son.”

Did people like it in past years?

Why, yes! We’ve sold tens of thousands of copies over the years, and folks have been very complimentary about the hard work that goes into the Almanac. I am not lazy when it comes to working on the Almanac. However, because I am very lazy when it comes to promoting the Almanac, here are some repurposed testimonials (because I assume these kind souls still feel exactly the same way as they did when they first wrote them):

The Almanac is a breath of fresh air amongst other draft tools that use cherry-picked stats to support preexisting opinions. The hype machine can cause player rankings to get out of control in some places, but you always know that with Chris’s evaluations, film don’t lie.

The Almanac was hands down the best fantasy resource I had last year. Ranks are a dime a dozen...the depth and breadth of the Almanac provided insight that could only come from hours and hours of analyzing game tape. I knew not only what Harris thought of the players’ talents and situations, but why. This year I’m planning on scrapping everything else and relying solely on the Almanac.
— Dan B
Instead of trying to project player stats (a ridiculous exercise) Chris gives a range of outcomes with a floor and ceiling. He also provides details of the player’s performance, abilities, strengths and weaknesses referenced from game tape! I don’t have time to watch the film, so I’m happy letting Chris do it!
— Beau S.
It’s easier to dump every stat under the sun into a draft kit than to spend countless hours distilling the necessary information into something actually useful. Chris does the most amazing job watching hundreds of hours of film, looking at the stats and eloquently articulating what you need to know about each player. The almanac is an absolute must-buy!
— Ben V.
The Almanac is the only draft guide that stays up-to-date throughout draft season…love those updates!
— Robert J.
The Almanac is not only great for getting ready for the season but you’ll refer to it often *during* the season. ‘Is this guy worth picking up off waivers after one big game?’ Head to the Almanac to read what Chris thinks of his prospects. Helped me immensely last year to make better waiver decisions.
