Our unveiling of 2023 fantasy football ranks continues, as we go through the wide receivers and quarterbacks. How many WRs can you count that don't give you a tummyache? Has that position grown so scary after #9 or #10 that it's suddenly becoming more viable to select one of the top QBs toward the end of the second round? We'll dig into the ranks again and begin getting an idea of what fantasy drafts should look like come August. Also: this is our final podcast until July 4th. Have a great beginning to your summer! Guest: Cousin Josh (@DetectiveFisch).

The NFL Draft is done, which means most of the pieces for the 2023 NFL season are finally in place. That also means it's time to think about ranks! 4/27/23: Re-Drafting The Class Of 2022

With the 2023 NFL Draft upon us, we're using this week as an opportunity to look back at the rookies for 2022. What have we learned about them, and if we could do our rookie drafts from last year all over again, how would our opinions change? We'll count down the top 20 second-year players going forward, including the likes of Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, Ken Walker, Jameson Williams and many more. Plus a discussion of Aaron Rodgers finally getting traded to the Jets, and what's left behind with Jordan Love in Green Bay. Guest: Andy Behrens of Yahoo! Fantasy (@andybehrens).

4/20/23: 2023 NFL Draft Preview - QBs & TEs Plus Rookie Draft Strategy

Which QB will be drafted first overall next week? Which QB *should* be first overall? We'll dig into the elite signal callers in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft, with special care paid to which guys will be best for fantasy. And we'll also talk about tight ends: there will definitely be one TE drafted in the first round, but should he be? And finally we'll discuss your dynasty rookie draft for '23 and whether this is the year you should load up on early first-rounders or trade them away. Guest: Paul Perdichizzi of Saturday2Sunday (@paulie23ny).

4/13/23: 2023 NFL Draft Preview - The WRs Try To Measure Up

Our preview of the upcoming NFL Draft continues with a look at the wide receivers. The Class of 2023 isn't expected to be filled with superstars like the last two years have been, but if you think there won't be at least a couple WRs taken in the first round, you're probably wrong! Let's learn what each wideout does well, and what kind of stars they might turn into with the right landing spots. Plus some thoughts on Odell Beckham to the Ravens, and what it means (and doesn't mean) for Lamar Jackson. Guest: Nick Whelan of FootballGuys.com (@_NickWhelan).

4/6/23: 2023 NFL Draft Preview - Bijan Robinson & RBs

Bijan Robinson is considered a lock to be an NFL Draft first-round pick and your dynasty rookie draft's 1.01. But is he a can't-miss, generational player? We'll discuss, plus dive deeper into the Class of 2023 running backs to find the ones we think could hit it big for fantasy, and the ones who are overrated. Time to start evaluating RB talent before we know the landing spots! Guest: Matt Waldman of the Rookie Scouting Portfolio (@MattWaldman).

3/17/23: NFL Free Agency Signings!

We have NFL player movement for 2023! A bunch of running backs, wide receivers and tight ends officially have new homes, and we're here to talk about what it means. We'll dig into the skill guys whose situations have changed, and try and remember what we think about their abilities. From Aaron Rodgers to Tony Pollard to Michael Thomas to David Montgomery, Miles Sanders, Jamaal Williams and many more, we've got you covered! Guest: Brett Kollmann of the Film Room YouTube Channel (@BrettKollmann).

3/9/23: 2023 NFL Free Agency Preview

The 2023 NFL season begins in earnest next week when teams will begin signing free agents and shaping their rosters -- which will give the '23 fantasy season a big jump-start as well. Huge names like Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs were franchise-tagged, but we could see movement from Miles Sanders, David Montgomery, DeAndre Hopkins, Michael Thomas...to say nothing of the possibility that Lamar Jackson could wind up on a new team. We'll discuss the names to know heading into March 15th, plus cast a look back at the Super Bowl and wonder why dumb things keep happening in that big game. Guest: Jamey Eisenberg of CBS Fantasy (@JameyEisenberg).

3/1/23: Best Movies Of 2022

Are we the last podcast to do a year-in-review for cinema in 2022? Probably! But that just means you've already forgotten all the films you saw last year. Today, we'll remind you, and hopefully give you some leads on movies from around the world you might've missed. Guest: Cousin Josh (@DetectiveFisch).

2/9/23: Super Bowl Preview & Ken Walker Film

The Chiefs and Eagles will finally duke it out in the Super Bowl, and we'll talk about how we think the game will proceed, and also spend a good deal of time discussing best bets. Should you wait to wager if you like the Eagles? Which quarterback comes with the most attractive prop bets? Is there value in the game's point total? We'll dig into these and many other ways to think about Super Bowl 57. Plus Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker had a strong rookie season and is bound to get hyped for fantasy this summer. We'll break down his running style and overall talent with an eye toward 2023. Guest: Matt Landes of the Props And Hops Podcast (@MLandes18).

2/2/23: Listener Request Episode & Sean Payton To Broncos

What should the Bills do with their roster and coaching staff going forward? Who would win a long-drive competition among our podcast guests? How does Jim like his cheese-steaks? That's right: today we turn the podcast over to the listeners and answer *your* questions! It's our annual love-letter to the fans who make this show possible. Plus we'll discuss Sean Payton landing in Denver and whether we think Russell Wilson can be fixed. Guest: Jim McCormick of ESPN (@_JimmyMcCormick).

1/26/23: Five Level-Jumpers For 2023 & Jahan Dotson Film

It's a great time of year for player evaluation! We know very little about how NFL teams will look by the time August gets here, so we can focus on what players do well, and how we think their results might improve in 2023. Today we'll count down five players who have a chance to "jump levels" this season! Plus a review of rookie Commanders receiver Jahan Dotson, and some chatter about the immediate futures of Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Guest: Matt Harmon of Yahoo! Fantasy (@MattHarmon_BYB).

1/19/23: 2023 Salary Cap Casualties & Tyler Allgeier Film

Some big skill-position names could be headed for the salary-cap chopping block this winter. Players like Dalvin Cook, Aaron Jones and Mike Evans could wind up on different teams in 2023 over money. On today's show, we'll evaluate what it would mean if cap-strapped teams pull the trigger on such transactions: ramifications for the players and for the team's they'd leave behind. We'll also break down the rookie tape of Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier, and talk about the Steelers and Chargers decisions on their offensive coaching staffs. Guest: Scott Pianowski of Yahoo! Fantasy (@scott_pianowski).

1/12/23: Making Sense Of Fantasy Outliers From 2022

Some fantasy weapons posted weird statistical seasons in 2022! A few guys whose film we like had an inordinate number of touchdowns on less-than-scintillating usage. Some were allergic to the end zone. Some spiked their production toward the end of the season. Today we'll confront the statistical realities on some 2022 fantasy football anomalies, and decide whether we think they can repeat their production in 2023 or even vastly improve upon it. We'll also look at the current NFL coaching vacancies, and discuss the potential for a DeAndre Hopkins trade. Guest: Jake Ciely of The Athletic (@allinkid).
